Handyman work is quoted job by job, so the more precisely you describe each task the closer the quote will be to the final invoice. Fitting one shelf into plasterboard, mounting a television on a brick wall and re-hanging a dragging door are three different amounts of time, fixings and equipment.
Surfaces and access change the price: brick, tile, render and hardwood take longer than plasterboard, and upper-storey or tight-access work may need extra gear. Tell us whether materials are being supplied by you or should be quoted, and note that electrical, plumbing, gas and other licensed work is only referred to appropriately licensed providers where one is available.
